LoL and CS:GO at upcoming IEM San Jose

The Intel Extreme Masters are a series of international esports tournaments held in countries all over the world, managed by ESL. Their next event is being held this weekend (21-22 nov), hosting matches between both top tier League of Legends and CounterStrike: Global Offensive teams. The teams are competing for a pricepot of $175 000, fighting eachother in a Single Elimination "K.O." bracket. The LoL matches played will be Best Of 3 in the Quarter - and Semifinals, and a Best of 5 in the Grand Final. The CS:GO matches on the other hand will all be Best Of 3.

The competing teams for the League of Legends tournament are:

  • Unicorns of Love (Europe)
  • Origen (Europe)
  • Counter Logic Gaming (North America)
  • Team SoloMid (North America)
  • Jin Air Green Wings (Korea)
  • LGD (China)
